Biology

Biology Courses — Grade 11 & 12

What biology courses does Dr. Shreyank Educare offer?

Short answer

Dr. Shreyank Educare offers Life Sciences 11 (characteristics of life, cells, the diversity of organisms, evolution and ecology) and Anatomy & Physiology 12 (biochemistry, cell processes and the major human body systems). University cell biology is planned. AP Biology is not currently offered.

The biology learning pathway

Life Sciences 11 surveys life from the cell to whole ecosystems, using evolution to tie the diversity of organisms together. Anatomy & Physiology 12 then goes deep into human biology — biological molecules, cell processes such as respiration and photosynthesis, and the major organ systems and how they maintain homeostasis.

Available courses

  • University Cell Biology (BSc foundation) — coming soon

Common skill areas

  • Cell biology — structure and function of organelles
  • Classification and evolutionary reasoning
  • Energy processes — respiration and photosynthesis
  • Body systems and homeostasis — structure to function and feedback loops

How Dr. Shreyank Educare teaches biology

Every course follows the same loop: diagnose the exact skill causing difficulty, learn it through explanations and worked examples, practise under difficulty that adapts to your performance, turn each mistake into targeted remediation, and prove mastery by solving new, unseen problems independently.

Frequently asked questions

What order should I take the biology courses in?
Life Sciences 11 → Anatomy & Physiology 12. Anatomy & Physiology 12 builds on the cell biology and organism-level understanding from Life Sciences 11.
Do you offer AP Biology?
Not at this time. Biology is offered as Life Sciences 11 and Anatomy & Physiology 12; AP Biology is not currently a live course.
Is Life Sciences 11 the same as Biology 11?
In the current BC curriculum the senior biology courses are Life Sciences 11 and Anatomy & Physiology 12; they play the roles that "Biology 11" and "Biology 12" did in older curricula.
How much chemistry do I need for biology?
Some biochemistry appears (biological molecules, enzymes, respiration). Chemistry 11 helps for Anatomy & Physiology 12 but is not strictly required.
